BIO SKETCH
Prof. Mansoor completed his undergraduate degree from Punjab University in 1983. He went on to earn a Membership (MCPS) and Fellowship (FCPS) degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Pakistan. His passion for research and improving patient care led him to pursue further training at several renowned institutions, including 400 years old St. Thomas Hospital London under highly acclaimed teachers in 1992.
From 1992 to 1996, Prof. Mansoor was trained in the National Cancer Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.He completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology (AP) and Clinical Pathology (CP) at George Washington University. Prof. Mansoor
then pursued a Hematopathology Fellowship at the esteemed MD Anderson Cancer Center of
University of Texas in Houston, which he completed in 2001.
During his training at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Professor Adnan Mansoor played a
pivotal role in the invention, development, and advancement of genomic techniques in cancer
biology. His work encompassed various cutting-edge areas, including gene transfer and signal
transduction. Prof. Mansoor had the privilege of working under world leaders in lymphoma
biology and diagnostics, such as Dr. Elaine Jaffe and Dr. Stetler-Stevenson.
Throughout his career, Prof. Mansoor has built upon the strong foundation laid during his time
at the NIH, continuing to explore novel techniques and approaches in cancer research. His work
